In 1985, Sam DiPaola joined the team and became owner of the company in 1991. Over the years, Sovereign has evolved alongside the industry, adapting to changing landscapes and pioneering advancements in technology, sustainability, and global partnerships. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt and innovate, ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve and continue to meet the needs of our suppliers and customers.

Throughout our journey, Sovereign has achieved numerous milestones and successes, from international distribution to strategic partnerships with global producers in Asia and beyond to our commitment to sustainability through platforms such as EcoVadis. We continually strive to enhance our offerings across various sectors of the rubber industry, including passenger, truck, race and aircraft tires and various other rubber goods. Our multitalented team, with expertise spanning sales, technical expertise, procurement and customer service ensures that we provide comprehensive solutions that exceed expectations and drive success in every sector of the industry.

In 2017, Sovereign transitioned to new management under the leadership of Sam III and Debra DiPaola. Together, they each bring over 25 years of tenured experience having managed every aspect of the company – from technical roles and customer service to sales and purchasing. Their commitment has continued to drive Sovereign Chemical forward, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and employees alike.
